How about a competitive shooting series WITHOUT the Survivoresque backstabbing angle? Everyone I know that watches Top Shot was horribly disappointed to see the “drama’ beginning to unfold. How about showing the competition and the competitors issues with equipment, etc. I think the discovery of this element alienated a lot of the shooting sports fan base that Top Shot initially drew.
Comment by Bonnie Sexton — July 19, 2010 @ 9:19 pm
Could you please tell me the best person at Pilgrim to speak with regarding an enhancement of the current Top Shot program?
I have a mobile shooting range that is rifle capable to 30-06 and has three shooting stalls. “American Idol” and so many of the other shows travel to regional areas to find their competitors and then narrow down the field.
Imagine if Top Shot had their own mobile shooting range that went around the country (sponsored by numerous non competitive firearms and accessory manufacturers) to find their contestants. I have many different ideas of how the mobile range can be used to enhance the Top Shot series or create another showed based on the popularity of the shooting sports.
Please feel free to contact me for more information.
Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon.
Respectfully,

Worth having a look at the one post website for sponsoring/filming of four epic yet forgotten pilgrims of a 16th century spiritual giant of India.
Let me know if it will interest you so that I may then send the proposal in properly physically signed submission form.

Both are Good Friends, and each was one against the many.

How about at Top Shot type show featuring young shooters aged 14 to 18 perhaps? Payoff could be in scholarships. It would be interesting to watch the parent/child and child w/competitors drama….not the backstabbing elimination of the traditional Top Shot. Anyhow, there are some great kids out here who are excellent marksmen and it would be interesting to see their development.

Re: Top Shot
Great Series!
Have you considered buliding-up to an international version? Despite more restrictive environments, countries like Italy, Germany, and France would make great venues for national TOP SHOT competitions (local sponsors added to existing series sponsors etc.). The TOP SHOT from each country could then participate in the International TOP SHOT Championship to be held yearly in the U.S.A.
As a retired International Film & Television production exec and an avid shooter, I’d be more than happy to lend a hand to develop, organize, and produce an international project.
Best wishes for your continued success.

Hi,
I noticed the time for submissions to the next season to top shot has ended but i have the perfect person to come on the show and was wondering if you could give him a chance to send in a tape. His is a master srgt in the special froces and a tactical sniper (and my big brother). He recently recieved a silver star with a V device for a 1000 meter kill shot in afghanistan and is able to shoot any weapon and shoot it well. I think he would be a great addition to the show. If there is a possibility he could send in a tape that would be awesome. Feel free to email me if its possible. Thanks!!!!

I have an idea for the Ultimate Fighter.
Get a bunch of white collar Wall Street burnouts in the house and call the show “The Escape from Corporate America challenge”
The requirements to get in the house would be the following:
1. Currently employed in Wall Street Corporate America type of job.
2. Employed in Wall Street Corporate America type of job for at least 10 consecutive years.
I know I would love to be on that show!

When considering possible historic weapons for season 2 of Top Shot, consider the historic WWII German Mauser K98. It was germany’s primary infantry rifle, and was manufactured by one of germany’s top arms manufacturers. The rifle is extremely accurate and the 8mm round makes a distinctive “crack” when fired. My father brought one home from the war as a trophy and used it for hunting deer for years. I now have it, and treasure it’s historical and sentimental value.
GREAT SHOW GUYS!

Have two ideas for Top Shot Season 2
1. Invite Tara back. She performed well and deserves a chance to prove herself, her elimination was due to her father’s terminal cancer, not her being taken out by another shooter.
2. Have several weapon/challenge ideas.
a) The Colt M1911 .45ACP pistol (assemble, load and shoot), could be team or elimination challenge.
b) Ninja throwing stars at a board of balloons (team or elimination challenge).
c) Blowgun darts at a balloon board (team or elimination)
d) throwing axe at a wood block (similar to throwing knives in Season 1)
e) Red Ryder BB gun at a carnival style shooting gallery (team or elimination)
f) A shooter/spotter challenge similar to season 1 using WWI era rifles (British Enfield, 1903 Springfield, Mosin-Nagant, Mauser)
g) Dirty Harry – friend /foe targets in a Hogan’s Alley setting, pop-up targets (red or blue) using the S&W .44 magnum. Most team hits wins. Maybe try to get Clint Eastwood to appear.
h) Long range poker. (from the movie SWAT). Shooters try to make the best poker hand shooting at one deck of cards at 200 yards using the Remington 700 (season 1 first elimination weapon).

Dear Casting for David Tutera Show My Favorite Wedding,
My name is Lady Lora and I recently was watching your show and came up with an idea for a Big Event that Myself (President of The So Calif. Friesian Horse Club along with Sonja Zinke, Sunshine Friesians) and my club is putting together (non-profit with 5%going towards a scholarship for a senior high student). It is an event like no other at the Galway Downs Equestrian Center in Temecula Ca. We are putting together a Equestrian Event that we are trying to make it the most talked about event in the equestrian world. We will have a VIP tent along with a Champagne Dinner, Entertainment, Music, Auction, Fashion Show, etc…
We would love to have David Tutera come and film his transformation of our evening event. We have a invite RSVP from Martha Stewart to attend, after all she opens her show with her beauitiful Friesian Horses.
Our event is coming soon October 1st and 2nd, 2010.
You can check out our event website at http://www.friesianinspection.com and our club website is http://www.friesianhorseclub.com.

Have you ever thought of doing a series with Physic Carla Baron? I know a lot of people would be interested in seeing her work again on tv when she did haunting evidance…was a great show many people miss it and they say they would watch her if she did another show. You should think seriously about it.
Comment by lois — August 24, 2010 @ 10:40 pm
I want to see Carla Baron again. I would watch her stand on her head and eat sunflowers on the side of the freeway. I would buy anything she was selling. Please.
Comment by Kathleen Keane — August 25, 2010 @ 1:39 pm
I really feel that there would be a lot of interest in a show with Carla Baron. Something along the lines of Haunting Evidence. Or some new concept dealing with her abilities and looking into the paranormal, unexplained, missing persons, etc.
This is something on the minds of everyone.
Comment by Steve Stoddard — August 25, 2010 @ 3:25 pm
I would love to see a show featuring Carla Baron. She has an amazing gift, and is a very talented person. Haunting Evidence was a great show, but I would love to see her doing something solo.
Comment by Jennifer Belcamino — August 25, 2010 @ 7:05 pm
Carla Baron would be a great asset and she’s truly one of the most gifted individual I’ve watched on Television. I’ve watched her on the Haunting Evidence episodes and she is amazing. She affect so many lives in a positive way. Carla Baron exemplifies selfless service & compassion for others. She should continue on a Television Show in which she can use her abilities for the benefit of the for not only the People of this Country but all across the World.
Comment by Michael Cullars — August 25, 2010 @ 7:40 pm
Carla Baron? Before you consider her, have a look at the following links…
http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/swift-blog/494-some-interesting-details.html
http://www.iigwest.com/investigations/carla_baron/carla_report.html
Turns out, this “psychic profiler” has NEVER CLOSED A SINGLE CASE. Probably part of the reason her show “Haunting Evidence” was canceled.
Those are just for starters. A quick google search for “carla baron fraud” pulls up a number of links regarding this alleged “psychic profiler” and her alleged “abilities”
Any show featuring this fraud is automatically suspect by default.
Comment by Mike — August 27, 2010 @ 7:09 pm
I really enjoyed Season One. I am looking forward to Season Two. I thought that it would be cool to use the song “I Like Guns” by Steve Lee as a theme song. I am pretty sure you have heard it but if not you can check it out on YouTube. Thanks for considering my suggetion.
Comment by Malyard — August 29, 2010 @ 11:35 am
There are many reasons to consider someone for a slot on television, but the main reason would be viewers.
Carla Baron would be a great asset for a new show, simply due to the fact of the number of followers that believe she does have some great abilities and would tune into your shows just to spend a little time watching those abilities.
You have millions of viewers tune in each week to watch people search for ghosts, yet, there are millions of people that do not believe in ghosts, doesn’t it make sense that just as many would tune in to watch someone tap into another form of the other side, the side that takes believe.
Comment by Steve Stoddard — August 30, 2010 @ 10:57 pm
My post isn’t really an idea submission. I am actually trying to find out where I might acquire information regarding production type jobs with Pilgrim Films (i.e. career opportunities).
Comment by AC — August 31, 2010 @ 12:33 am
I would testify in a court of law under oath about your abilities. You have an incredible gift, and we are all just glad that you have chosen to share your gift with us.
Comment by Jennifer Belcamino — August 31, 2010 @ 12:23 pm
Ms. Carla Baron is very genuine and despite what skeptics may say, she touched many lives. Scrutinizing her abilities and undermining her character is not what this site is about. It is about fans like me who want her to be in her own/or slotted in a TV program in which she can conitinue to deliver her exemplary service to the public. Ms. Carla Baron has my vote.
